Indulgence Salon
was
established by co-owners, Johnnie Raisanen and Traci Miller
in the summer of 2000. They combined forces to establish an
exciting yet down-to-earth hair and beauty salon that offers
a comfortable atmosphere for their clients. Indulgence Salon
is a full-service salon offering haircuts for men, women,
and children; hair coloring and highlights, perms, chemical
hair relaxers, European facials, facial and body waxing, Gel
nails, manicures, pedicures, Swedish massage, reflexology,
and permanent cosmetics.
In addition to offering quality hair, body and beauty
treatments,
the owners of Indulgence Salon insist on being an
educationally forward salon. They are determined to always
keep the salon skills current, fashionable and fresh. The
primary principle and driving force behind all of the
Indulgence Salon technicians, stylists and service providers
is to make certain that everyone enjoys their time spent
here, and that they look and feel truly amazing after

Before I ever even enrolled in
Cosmetology School, I knew that I would work at
Indulgence Salon. I knew this partially because
I practically grew up here, as my mother is one
of the owners, but mostly because of how
friendly and fun all of the ladies are that work
here! I truly LOVE coming to work everyday! I
adore the relationships that I have built with
my clients and it is a privilege to call them my
friends.
The services that I offer are waxing, European
facials, pedicures, manicures and I am a Gel
Nail Specialist. After working with Gel Nails, I
can't imagine doing another set of acrylics. The
difference being that there are no chemical
odors and they are lighter and easier on the
natural nails. The best part is that there is no
time spent waiting for your polish to dry
because the Gel Polish is cured immediately!

I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since
June of 1990. I am trained in providing Swedish
Massage, Chair Massage, and Foot Reflexology and
provide services to clients in Salem, OR and the
surrounding areas.
SWEDISH MASSAGE: Swedish
Massage can be described as a general, overall
muscle manipulation technique. It can be
performed as light touch or deep tissue, as
needed.
CHAIR MASSAGE: Chair Massage is an ideal option
for those that don’t have the time for a longer
massage, but need a brief “stress reliever”. It
is available for office settings, family
reunions, wedding rehearsals, and for many other
settings. Because it requires no disrobing and
is much shorter in time, it is extremely
convenient and affordable!
FOOT REFLEXOLOGY: Foot Reflexology is a technique
that provides the client with an “internal
massage”. Reflexology refers to points on the
feet that correspond to internal parts of the
body. Nerves branch out from different organs
and end in the hands and feet. By applying
pressure to specific points on the hands and
feet, it affects the corresponding body part.
Going barefoot on smooth gravel is a form of
natural reflex treatment.
WARNING: sometimes reflexology procedures can be
painful.
My goal is to provide a nurturing massage in a
relaxing and comfortable environment. I do this
by explaining to the client in detail what it is
that I am going to do, and also taking time to
answer each question asked. Candlelight,
waterfall, and relaxing music are also provided
to enhance the session.
